Mazunte faces a serious water shortage, and not heating it helps us conserve both water and energy. In the coast's warm climate the water feels fresh and pleasant, and it encourages shorter showers. No. Casa La Vista was designed to make the most of the abundant natural ocean breeze: its open spaces and a special thermal roof help keep the house cool and well ventilated. We also installed high-powered, energy-efficient fans in the suites and common areas. It is a comfortable, responsible way to cool off, in harmony with the surroundings.
